Weird much.

Testing. Man if this is alright, what the heck is with the words that disappeared in my previous post?

Weird much.

Wait MV Narration

Here we go with this song (listen to it as you read this):

Scene appears in a town at night. Shows David on a bench with his hoodie on under a lamp post. David starts singing.

I can't sleep, I'm feeling wide awake
Tonight is taking it's time
How much more before the morning breaks
And I can leave it all behind

Zooms in on David's face. Intense eyes.

'Cause every time I try to close my eyes
I only end up seeing memories of you
And it's never enough, I'm waiting

Changes scene. David starts walking down the street and sings with few people walking past him.

Even though you're gone I can hear your heart
It's calling out my name like a flash in the dark
If this is just a dream
I won't give it back
I'll find a way to make it last

Stretches out his hand towards the screen with emotion.

One more minute, wait, wait, wait, don't go
Just one more minute, wait, wait, wait, don't go

David leans on a wall in a back alley and sings.

I am keeping every word you say
But how much longer can I hold on
Cause whispers echoing until they fade
Remind me that you're already gone

Zooms in on David.

'Cause every time I try to chase your voice
I end up getting lost and running in circles
And it's never enough, I'm waiting

As David walks, he sees a couple crossing at a junction towards him. Both look happy as they held each other close. Envy look on David's face. Slight angle from behind David's hoodie zoom in on his listless expression. Scene changes between David at the back alley and the bench earlier.

Even though you're gone I can hear your heart
It's calling out my name like a flash in the dark
If this is just a dream
I won't give it back
I'll find a way to make it last
One more minute wait, wait, wait, don't go
Just one more minute, wait, wait, wait, don't go
Wait, wait, wait, don't go
Just one more minute, wait, wait, wait, don't go
Oooh yeah, don't go

David sings at the rooftop. He overlooks the town.

Even though you're gone I can hear your heart
It's calling out my name like a flash in the dark
If this is just a dream
I won't give it back
I'll find a way to make it last
One more minute, wait, wait, wait, don't go
Just one more minute, wait, wait, wait, don't go

David looks at the moon. Zooms in on David's intense eyes as he look towards the screen. Scene blacks out.

End.

Everything and More MV Narration

Here we go with this song (listen to it as you read this):

Scene appears. Orange sky as it is evening. Some clouds can be seen.
Focuses on a meadow with a piano in the middle. A figure walks from afar.
Zooms in on David with a black jacket and shirt and jeans and brown shoes walking towards the piano, sits and starts playing the piano with him singing.

You see a storm heading our way
You know the cold can make things delay, up here it can’t do any harm.
The cracks show in the concrete jungle
Tear apart the weakest of hearts, up here you’ll be safe in my arms.
Oh.

Focuses on David's hands on the piano. Changes to David's intense eyes.

I know that you’re feeling like we’re only dreaming
Well don’t look down ’cause this is real.

David stands solo in the meadow. Stretches out his hands as he sings following the words of the song. Zoom ins and outs.

Like a satellite we’re flying
Overhead where we see it all.
Nothing can touch us, we’re everything and more.
There’s no turning back from this point.
Reaching heights like never before.
Nothing can touch us, we’re everything, we’re everything and more.

David lies on the grass, hands behind his head with a daisy on his chest. Wind blows the scenery. Changes scene to David playing the piano.

Let’s try holding each other, found a love to last forever.
Up here gives you wings to stay strong, ooh.
The air is pure that we’re breathing.
We’re something to believe in, ’cause I feel it’s where we both belong.

Scene getting darker. Close to night. Zooms in on David singing solo.

I know that you’re feeling like we’re only dreaming
Well don’t look down ’cause this is real.

Scenes in between David singing solo and with the piano. Zoom ins and outs.

Like a satellite we’re flying
Overhead where we see it all.
Nothing can touch us, we’re everything and more.
There’s no turning back from this point.
Reaching heights like never before.
Nothing can touch us, we’re everything, we’re everything and more.

Shows the sky filled with stars. Zooms in to David looking at the sky. David sings solo again. Emotional moment.

Trust me this is worth not falling back to Earth.
Everything and more is up here.

Zooms in to David with the piano. Scenes in between David singing solo and with the piano. Zoom ins and outs.

Like a satellite we’re flying
Overhead where we see it all.
Nothing can touch us, we’re everything and more.
There’s no turning back from this point.
Reaching heights like never before.
Nothing can touch us, we’re everything and more.

Focuses on David's hands playing the piano. David smiled slightly.

Nothing can touch us, we’re everything, we’re everything and more.
We’re everything and more, hey.

David gets up from the piano. Turns back for a moment. Smiles and walks back to where he came from in the darkness. Focuses on the piano and shows the daisy earlier. Scene blacks out.

End.

Notice Me MV Narration

Here we go with this song (listen to it as you read this):

Beach scene. Zooms in on David's hands. Zooms out. David in white t-shirt with an outer white shirt and beige pants standing in the sand facing the water. David starts singing.

I try to find the words when you walk by (walk by)
Words just can't explain the way I feel (I feel) inside

Change scene. In school corridor full of lockers. Students walking after classes end. David walks out of classroom with glasses and a backpack with a couple of friends. Saw a girl walk past him. Got attracted as David looks at her. Back to beach scene.

My friends keep sayin you're untouchable
And I can't help feeling invisible

I'd do anything to catch your eye
So you could see me in a different light
Tell me what's it gonna take cause I wish you would notice me

In Chemistry class. David kept glancing at the girl he saw earlier at the table to his right. Girl looks happy and chats with her friend as they do an experiment. David's friend pats him on the back. David got surprised and adjusted his glasses in embarrassment as his friend teased him.

If you could only give me just one chance
I could be the one and here I am
What's it gonna take to understand

Without David knowing, girl took one glance at him in curiosity from afar. David sings at the beach, zooms in.

Wish you would notice me
Notice, notice, notice me
Notice, notice, notice me

David walks into a library. Saw the girl walking his way. He quickly hides behind a shelf.

You've got a light that never seems to fade
I'm drawn to you and I can't look away

David admires girl from afar. Change to beach scene. David sitting down as wind blows his hair on slow motion. Sings and zooms in.

We come from different places, girl I know, mmmm
But two worlds collided could be beautiful

David walks along the shoreline as wind blows his clothes swiftly. Sings solo with gestures. Emotions.

I'd do anything to catch your eye
So you could see me in a different light
Tell me what's it gonna take cause I wish you would notice me

School ends for the day. David unlocking his keylock from his bicycle. Girl walks beside him. David taken aback.

If you could only give me just one chance
I could be the one and here I am
What's it gonna take to understand

Girl chuckles. Helped David up. Both chatted a bit. David blushed.

Notice, notice, notice me
Notice, notice, notice me

Girl cycles away. David gazes away. Back to beach scene.

I wonder if you know how amazing you are
You leave me breathless

Zooms onto David. David really emotional and getting into the song. Stretches out his hand towards the screen.

You didn't even try but you've stolen my heart and I don't want it back
I don't want it back

Zooms out. David gazes upon the sea.

I'd do anything to catch your eye
So you could see me in a different light
Tell me what's it gonna take cause I wish you would notice me

David sings solo. A pair of feet can be seen walking towards him in the sand.

If you could only give me just one chance
I could be the one and here I am
What's it gonna take to understand

A hand held David's hand. David turns to look. It was the girl whom he likes. Girl wears white top with a long, orange skirt. Her long hair blows in the wind. She smiles.

Notice, notice, notice me
Notice, notice, notice me

Both hug each other as they dazed upon the sea. Zooms out. Blacks out.

End.

Love Don't Hate MV Narration

Hi!

I've been listening to Love Don't Hate and Notice Me (that later) so much that my mind has created a music video for it in there. So here's what my music video pictures like (listen to the song as you read this):

Scene appears, dark and brown ambience, sort of like at night, zooms into a room, vague outline of David sitting on a chair near the window.

Title appears - Love Don't Hate, David Archuleta

Zooms into David's hand, switches on the radio on the table by turning the knob.
David looks into camera and starts singing.

Don't know what I was thinking
I messed up and now we're sinking

Zooms out, shows curtains by the window blowing slightly.
David appears listless. Zooms in at David again.

Said things I didn't mean
Hard to watch your heart breaking

Change scene. David in an empty room. Gestures and sings to the camera with emotions. Couple of zoom ins and outs.

Words cut like razor blades and left you
with a scar
Made a mistake I can't erase
Oh I was wrong

David looks at a poloraid picture, seems like him with a girl. Zooms in at David's eyes.

Took you for granted
And I can't stand it
Shouldn't be that way

Random lights shining on David, creating shadow effects on the walls behind him as he continues singing.

'Cause love don't hate, hate
Love don't hate, hate

Change scene. David and the girl near a swing at a park. Season is Fall. Lots of brown and orange leaves. Seems like they are arguing.

You said that you need time
'Cause hurt don't heal over night

David sits on the swing and sings. Zooms in.
Girl walks away as she sways her scarf up to her neck.
David stands there, not knowing what to do.

It's not enough to apologize
What I did wrong I need to make right

Changes angle. David looking at the sky. Clouds can be seen brown contrast.

Words cut like razor blades and left you
with a scar
Made a mistake I can't erase
Oh I was wrong

David sings among the beautiful trees in the park. Zoom ins and outs.

Took you for granted
And I can't stand it
Shouldn't be that way

David picks up some leaves. Lets them go as they are blown in the wind.

'Cause love don't hate, hate
Love don't hate, hate

David sings emotionally with zoom ins. Back to the room scene.

I should've listened

I should've met you in the middle like
I needed to

Poloraid picture on the table with David's fingers on it. Moon shines brightly in the sky outside the window.

Nobody's perfect
No fight is worth the risk if it's gonna
mean losing you

Change scene in the empty room. Stretches out his hand as he sings. Very emotional. Zooms in. Solemn expression on his face.

I should've listened
I should've listened

Change scenes in between the park and empty room as he sings solo. Zooms in.

Words cut like razor blades and left you
with a scar
Made a mistake I can't erase
Oh I was wrong

Took you for granted
And I can't stand it
Shouldn't be that way

'Cause love don't hate, hate
Love don't hate, hate

I should've listened
I should've listened

Doorbell rings. David looks in the direction of the door.

I should've listened

David opens the door. Girl stands at his doorstep, smiled slowly.
David smiles back and invites her in.
Zooms in on David solemn expression. Zooms out at the room he was in the beginning.
Blacks out.

End.

The David Archuleta KL Concert Experience (Day 3)!

Today was the final day we were gonna spend in KL. How time flew quickly when we were having a good time the past couple of days!

I woke up the next morning to the sound of chatter of the other peeps in the living room. Feeling zenful (or something like that), I greeted them morning in my sleepy tone and slouched on the chair, not believing that I had just gone through yesterday. The other peeps were talking about meeting Papa Jeff and how they had some regrets such as not taking a personal photo of him. Even so, we convinced each other that we came here to attend his concert and to have a good time and we did just that!

Our flight was at 2.50pm so we had to hurry in the morning, considering everyone kinda woke up late (who wouldn't in that nice environment we were in?). Jeff suggested Carl's Jr for breakfast since Mai had a craving for it so we went to The Pavilion to grab a quick bite. We stopped by a bread shop before rushing back to the hotel to check out and head to KLIA for our flight.

We didn't realize how crucial the time was at this moment till when we arrived at the airport. You see, we left at around 12.30pm and went on separate cabs. Me, Mai and Jeff share a cab and turned out our cab driver decided to make a stop at the petrol station to top up gas. We were busy chatting about the past few days that we did not notice the time. By the time we reached the airport, the checking in time was almost closing. We ran to the counter once June saw us and told us to hurry and we made it in time! Gosh I was still sleepy and groggy from the lack of sleep. Haha.

By then, we saw Sal at the airport too as she was heading to Singapore before heading back to Johor, which was nearer. We flew back to Singapore and here I am, recapping my experience with you guys after a few days to reflect back on the 3 awesome days I had!

To end off, I would like to thank the rest of the Singapore Archies, Mai, Jeff, June, Larissa, FSteven, Sal and Wei Yan for making this trip an enjoyable and memorable one! Not forgetting Kim too whom I finally met after talking a couple of times on the phone. It was nice to meet you!

Also, to the Malaysian Archies I met, Hannah, EcaChan, Mirachie, Hazmiftw. You guys are great!

Finally, I wanna thank DAVID ARCHULETA AND THE BAND and of course PAPA JEFF for having the Asian Tour and making it possible for Asia to share the warmth and soulful voice of the boy wonder and awesome live music! It was great hearing and meeting you guys and hopefully we get to do it again soon enough! Yay! And thank you people for reading.

Zaren signing off. Out!

The David Archuleta KL Concert Experience (Day 2)!

Today's the Concert Day!

In the morning, we had breakfast at the hotel and went to Suria KLCC where me and the other peeps went shopping and had lunch. On a side note, the KL atmosphere is somewhat chaotic and the transportation was interesting and eye-opening, be it the train or cabs. Haha.

After shopping at around 4pm, we went straight to Stadium Negara where the concert was gonna be held. Apparently, there were 2 stadiums in KL. One was Bukit Jalil where soccer matches were usually held and Stadium Merdeka? Not sure if Merdeka and Negara are the same stadium but either one, luckily our cab driver knew where we were going and arrived there safely. We saw some merchandise being sold at the stalls outside and found that they were unofficial. Still, we bought some David passes and badges. Hehe. The official merchandise has some nice shirts but baby tees. Grr.

After a while, it was time for M&G. Sal, a Singapore Archie based in Johor, kindly got the Singapore Archies passes for it, so thanks Sal! There were other groups too, so it was messy at first but we got in soon.

Here's the best part. Let me put it in points:
-Entered the room, saw David taking an official photograph with a group in front of us.
-I told Papa Jeff, who was sitting nearby to meet Jeff from Singapore.
-He said, "Oh really? We have the same name? Is the spelling like J-E-F-F?"
-JeffSG nodded. Both Jeffs shook hands and acknowledged each other (EPIC MOMENT)
-David said Hi! We said Hi! Sony rep asked to go to David to take an official photograph first (What's up with that?)
-Sal talked to David a bit about the DSA Charity thing DASG did previously. David trying to listen and went OOHH! Sony rep rushing us. We got annoyed.
-Overwhelmed him with our gifts. David had a confused and happy look at the same time. "Oh thank you guys. Thank you, thank you!" He took the bags one by one with his fingers.
-My closest Archies, Mai and Jeff, 'ninja'-ed in front of me to meet Papa Jeff.
-I've no idea what just happened, so I joined in to take a photo with Papa Jeff and JeffSG and Mai and EcaChan (Malaysian Archie).
-We went out of the room.

So yes. It was rushed and we barely get to talk to the wonder boy. Goodness. Anyway, at least we got meet him. So it was good. As usual, the gals were spazzing about the moment. LOL.

We hung out outside for a while since we had around an hour moment to spare before the 8pm concert. We got in around half an hour early and got seated. The stage looked awesome with the purple lights and music instruments in stage, ready to go. This was the moment. THE FIRST DAVID ARCHULETA CONCERT OF MY LIFE.

The opening act came out first (Malaysian local singer I think). He danced great though couldn't make out the language coz it's in Mandarin. Haha. Then the Archie's band came out and got ready. There were screams at intervals and when David finally came out, everybody in my section literally stood and went forward, so we had no choice but to stand. So much for numbered seating. Haha.

The first thing I realized was the MAD STEREO SYSTEM. Gosh the speakers were so loud, I could feel the vibrations, but it was DANG AWESOME. I LOVE IT. Combined with David's MAD VOCALS AND THE BAND, MADNESS! I guess that's how a concert is supposed to be like.

He belted out Stomping The Roses, TOSOD and ALTNOY in the beginning. I can't remember the flow for the rest of the songs, but he sang them flawlessly. It's hard to describe it, but he literally was expressing his emotions through his songs. You can really feel his connection with the audience and the songs and we were just having fun with it! He sang additional covers such as Stand By Me, Heaven and Crazy just for his concert here. How awesome is that?! BLOODY GREAT. No words could describe his performances seriously. He's getting better and better each time I see him perform and he's gonna do great in every album that's he's gonna make in the future.

The BEST part, however, was the ending, where Steven J Robinson, the drummer teased the audience and continued drumming the Crush tune after David left and not wanting to end it. David came out soon after and even played a bit of the drums with him. IT WAS EPIC. The audience went crazy and I just screamed for the drummer and the band. IT WAS LIKE ROCK CRUSH AND THE BEST ENDING EVER. LOVE IT.

The concert was over before we knew it but some fans still wanted more. Haha. The band threw some things to them like cloths, bottled water and even the drum sticks. So sporting! The guards were blowing their whistles so we had to leave. But some fans managed to get the band's autographs on their stuff, so it was neat!

We spazzed still outside the stadium and headed back to the stadium to bid farewell to David and his band. So, that was the last we saw of them live in person. Truly great. Truly. I was calm and zenful (like the rest said I was, since I was not jumping or screaming in the concert till the end) throughout, but inside, I was a happy guy. :)

We went to KL Central to McD to have supper and coincidentally, it was David's hotel right opposite the place, according to the other peeps. Surprise surprise. LOL. After eating, we went to the hotel coz one of us had some official business with Papa Jeff with the photos and all (Larissa, if you wanna know) and had to pass him something so we accompanied her. It was already like 1am at this time I think.

When we arrived, a group of Malaysian Archies were talking to Papa Jeff so we had to wait a while before Larissa could talk to him and both of them went up to his room. I was awed by the hotel where David was staying at, but he deserved it.

Soon, Larissa returned, with Papa Jeff as well! We were surprised that he was willing to meet us a bit though it was quite late and he must be tired. The first thing I heard him say was "This is Jeff from Singapore?" HE REMEMBERS JEFFSG. ANOTHER EPIC MOMENT.

We apologized that we were there, but he smiled, saying it was no problem since he planned not to sleep the entire night. He added that he'll just sleep throughout the flight later in the early morning. Wow.

We chatted a bit and he told us that he felt he should tag along during this Asian Tour since David won't be able to handle things on his own and it was great being in Asia and was not expecting the people here to be what he perceived. For example, he said in Indonesia, girls there were covered up with the tudung and modest outfits so he was expecting them to be calm and collected and be modest, as what is reflected by what they wear. He laughed it off when he realized he was wrong and turns out they were just as hyper as the rest of the fans, with the same spirit of loving music deep inside us and apologized for his earlier thoughts about Asian fans. It was a good conversation and he even remembered JeffSG! Cool stuff! We asked him about Singapore and he said that they were supposed to go there, but it was cancelled, though it would be a private event even if it worked out.

HOWEVER *ahem ahem* end of the year for Singapore. Want to know more? You'll have to ask me or the other peeps for it directly since it's no promise yet but if you wanna know, ask us when you meet us. :)

After that, we bid Papa Jeff goodbye and thanked him for having David in Asia. One thing we regretted after this was that WE FORGOT TO TAKE A PERSONAL PICTURE EACH WITH HIM. Haha. I guess we were too exhausted even that thought didn't cross our minds. Still, it was awesome meeting Daddy Archuleta! Such humility and gracious character.

We cabbed back to our hotel and me, JeffSG and Mai hung out for a while in the living room while the rest slept, drained out. I planned not to sleep since it was 4am by the time we washed up and everything but in the end, my body got the better of me and decided to collapse on the sofa/bed. Haha. So, that wraps up the 2nd day in KL. Yay. Zzz.

P.S The instant coffee I made had no effect at 4am.

The David Archuleta KL Concert Experience (Day 1)!

Hi guys!

It's been a while since I blogged (close to a year actually) but I hope you guys are well (if there are any readers out there). The next few posts or so are gonna be about my trip to KL, Malaysia to attend David Archuleta's concert as part of his Asian Tour!

When I heard he was coming to this part of town, me and the other Singapore Archies were very excited, so we crossed our fingers, hoping that he would stop by here. Unfortunately, he didn't so we were quite down about it. However, some of us decided if David can't come here, maybe we can to him! So with planning and stuff, we managed to pack our bags and head for KL, Malaysia where it was his last stop for his Asian Tour. He headed to Indonesia, Manila and Vietnam before that. Crazy and enthusiastic fans there too, I must say. Haha.

Let me point out that this is a first experience for me about everything. From having a new passport to taking a plane for the first time and attending a concert overseas. As I type this, I still can't believe I did all that. It was awesome!

After we landed in KLIA, we took a cab and headed to Somerset Ampang KL hotel to check in, which was cool coz it was so posh and swanky! We took an apartment room and boy I love it!

We put our bags down and went to Fareinheit 88 Mall where David was going to hold an autograph session specially for his Malaysian fans. Not before going to A&W fast food restaurant, where we had lunch as we were super hungry! The root beer was great as always!

Soon after, we arrived and we saw the stage with David Archuleta's backdrop and we were hyped up! We saw a queue near the stage so we joined in and chatted and got to know some Malaysian Archies. David was fashionably late (no pun intended) and by the time he arrived, all hell broke loose as always. Haha. He sang a bit of Something 'Bout Love and the autograph session started after that. He was always smiling as each fan came up on stage to get his autograph.

When it was my turn, I passed him my TOSOD ATE lyrics booklet and ticket for him to sign. He only signed the ticket at first, so I asked if he could sign the booklet too. "Sure!" he said and obliged. I think he must be tired in the inside hence the blur reaction but still looks good physically (w0w). When he was done, I held out my hand to give him a handshake. It took a second for him to realize and I told him he looked good in blue by the way with our hands still together (firm handshake he has). He stoned for a moment with our eyes in contact and his trademark smile looking at me. "Thanks!" he replied and I went down the stage. Does his eye colour keep changing in different lighting? It was like olive green with a bit of hazel. Bizarre but interesting every time I look into his eyes. Pure.

Soon, he left, smiled and waved to everyone goodbye while the fans were singing Wait (obvious reason) and screaming his name and all as he did so. Everyone dispersed and we Singapore Archies headed to Pavilion next door to have dinner at this Italian restaurant. By that time, it was already 11pm and close to midnight. We were tired but still excited coz it's only the first day! The concert has yet to begin and we were already spazzing about him being here and all. It was a great bonding session as well.

Once we were done, we headed back to hotel where we cleaned up and slept to get ready for the next day, Concert Day! :)

OH GOSH A YEAR HAS PASSED FROM MY LAST POST?!

Woah! It's been nearing a year since my last post! Gosh. Time sure flew by fast! -cleans spiderwebs-

It's time to change some stuff around here, starting with the header above. Gonna do one with additional singers, Adele and Demi Lovato! Rolling In The Deep and Skyscrapers are their number 1 hot singles at the moment and they are really awesome! Demi is making a comeback with an album on September 20th so Lovatics, be excited! Haha. Following that would be my twitter background and my graphics blog. Yay!

Alrite, comeback message done. Haha. Now, the next post would be the David Archuleta KL Concert Experience! That's right! I got a chance to attend his concert and meet him (well kinda, more on that later). It's been surreal and I'm still a little too not over it. Here we go!

Movies, Movies, Movies!

Hello!

Wow gosh it's been a really long time since I last came in here. Well, nothing much to blog about since my life has been somewhat ordinary and been pretty much a routine. Since I have time, I might as well post something today. And it's all about movies that I have watched at the cinema!

The first time I saw the trailer for Salt, I knew I had to watch the movie since it looked so cool! With Angelina Jolie, you can expect slick action and sexy eyes piercing through yours as though she was looking at you intently and of course her adoring lips. All right, let's not get carried away.

The movie has an overall guessing game to the identity of the main character, Evelyn Salt to whether she is a Russian spy sent to kill the President of the United States. There are twists and turns and unexpected truths lie ahead as the story unfolds. I wish the ending would be better but overall a good thriller with car chases and of course the one and only Angelina Jolie.

Align Center

Toy Story 3! After a few years since Part 2 was released, Pixar has done it again with the toys having one heck of a ride of their lives. Andy, their owner is going to college and the toys are worried that they would be thrown away. One thing led to another and they ended up in a preschool where things were not as sunny as they thought it would. Led by the awesome Woody and mighty Buzz, the toys work together to get back to Andy before it's too late.

For me, any movie from Pixar would always bring joy to viewers since it has the ability to mix various emotions into the movie. It's great for the whole family to watch and the ending was very heart-warming. Also, expect wacky characters and witty lines that would tickle your funny bone. Awesome movie!

Usually this is not my kind of movie to watch but it looked interesting, so I tagged along with a couple of friends to watch it. The Robin Hood you have always known where he steals to give back to the poor is not really portrayed in this story since this is Robin Hood before those days. There's a history to this but it'll take an entire night to tell so let's just get to the point.

Russell Crowe plays Robin Hood well with his cool vibe and accent. There's a scene in the end where he shoots the bad guy who was escaping from him from far. That was dang awesome! They don't call him Robin Hood for nothing. Great adventure and cool story. I'm starting to like bird names like Raven and Robin. Oops random.

I just watched this today and heck I enjoyed it. I know people have been criticizing about this movie since there were many issues like the actors not really fitting the characters as compared to the cartoon series and the cast were made up of Americans when it's supposed to be an Asian influenced movie. I guess the audience who are familiar with the series have high expectations for the movie and I can understand their views. All right, for me the Fire Nation would be better off with Japanese or Chinese people taking the role and there should be more action scenes as I felt there weren't enough.

Still, the special effects were great and we shall see how the next 2 movies would turn out. Hopefully, there would be improvements after much critiques by everyone out there.

Lastly, let me just say I WANT THIS PHONE. Gosh, the above picture would tell you why. And of course, I love it. Enough said.

To all Muslims out there, happy fasting for the month of Ramadan!

Well, until here then. Bye! Nash out! :D

IRON MAN 2

"Welcome back, sir. All status are a go. Anything you need?"
"Prepare blog layout for new post."
"As you wish, sir."

Haha! How I wish that would be true. Well, no harm imagining it. I love the whole computer system Tony Stark has. It's so cool! Anyway, I watched Iron Man 2 and it's awesome! I think Robert Downey Jr is a good and funny actor and played the character well in this story. The new suit, War Machine, packs a punch and with Iron Man by his side, they are unstoppable. Love the action and humorous lines and antics of Tony Stark. Overall, awesome!

Work as usual is like a routine. I keep glancing at the clock at work, just waiting for the day to end. This has to go on for another year or so. Sigh. Well, I just take it one day at a time.

Until here folks! Bye! Nash out! :D

How To Train Your Dragon

Hello!

The last 2 days, I have been watching How To Train Your Dragon with my close buddy, Indra and my Archie buddies, Jeff and Mai. Haha! The movie is darn fun and awesome to watch! The whole storyline and script is pretty good and love the antics of the characters, especially the main ones, Hiccup and Toothless, the Night Fury Dragon. The audience was always in suspense from the start till the end, with of course, certain puppy eyes from the oh-so-adorable black dragon itself. LOL. If you want to destress or just have a good time, this is the movie to watch. Why do you think the tickets for this movie were selling fast when I wanted to buy tickets? LOL.

Hanging out with my close buddy was pretty cool since it's been a long time since we hung out. We ate at Swensens with the voucher I got from work and we enjoyed our baked rices. Then, we just rambled and walked around Marina Square before catching the movie and headed home. Can't believe it's been 6 to 7 years we known each other and we still kept in touch. Haha! Thanks Indra for the good time!

As for yesterday, I hung out with my Archie buddies and had a lot of fun! We kept laughing over random funny stuff and caught the movie before heading to Starbucks@One Fullerton to chill. Jeff brought his Polaroid camera which he got for his birthday (dang cool) and he tested it out for the first time. Haha! The photos turned out pretty good since the cafe had a cool ambience and good lighting and I'm loving it. LOL. Thanks Jeff for the photos and Mai for your jokes! You guys are awesome! :D

Well, until here then. Bye! Nash out! :D

Young and Earnest Geek

I stumbled upon an article today (Source: The New Paper) regarding American Idol 9 and how they are comparing it to past Idol alumni contestants. Here's one comparing Aaron Kelly and David Archuleta.

What do you think? In a way, I agree. There can only be one and only DAVID ARCHULETA. Haha!
